LeBron James Responds to Donald Trump Calling Him a 'Very Nasty Hater'

by Daryl Nelson

LeBron James has been a constant critic of Donald Trump, often calling him out on social media and in post-game interviews. Trump shot back at least once and called the NBA star "dumb."

He also called James a "very nasty" hater after the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA Finals earlier this month. It was a comment that James responded to in a newly released interview by The New York Times.

“I don’t go back and forth with anybody. And I damn sure won’t go back and forth with that guy," said James. "But we want better, we want change in our community. We always talk about, 'We want change' and now we have the opportunity to do that.”

Bron also spoke about his organization 'More Than a Vote" that helps combat voter's suppression.

"We’ve been fed misinformation for many years," he explained. "And I’m in a position where I can educate people and through More Than a Vote, educate people on how important this movement is and how important their civic duty is. Not only to empower themselves but to give back to their community as well."

What do you think about James' efforts to get Trump out of The White House?
