LeBron James Explains Why He's The GOAT

by HHL JT

LeBron James has scored more points than anyone else ever has on an NBA regular season basketball court.

He passed Kareem Abdul Jabbar's "unbreakable" record with 36 more points last night.  (Sadly, the Lakers lost on their home floor to a sub-500 team in a game that could have playoff ramifications.)

After the game, LeBron explained why he's the GOAT.

"What I bring to the table as a basketball player … I feel like I’m the best basketball player that ever played the game. That’s just my confidence, that’s just what I bring to the table, what I possess. But as far as if the scoring record gets me to another level, I don’t know.," he told the press after the loss.

You can count Skip Bayless among those who disagree:

LeBron has played 338 more games than MJ did. Yet MJ won 10 scoring titles to LBJ's 1. MJ: 3 steals titles to LBJ's 0. MJ: DPOY & 9-time 1st team all D to LBJ's 5. MJ 5-4 in MVPs. MJ 6-0 in Finals, 6 MVPs. MJ averaged 8 assists in '89. MJ FTs 84% to LBJ's 74. MJ: RUNAWAY GOAT.
