LeBron James Claps Back At Draymond Green On Superteams

by HHL Editors

During the Golden State Warriors victory parade, Draymond Green said what everyone was thinking and mocked Lebron James for claiming he had never been on a superteam.

In Green's remarks, he went as far as claiming LeBron started the whole superteam concept when he and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade and the Heat in 2010.

LeBron responded to Green on his teammate Richard Jefferson's podcast.

"No," James said about Green's superteam comments were. "No. I mean in 2003, the Lakers combined Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Shaq and Kobe. And in '96, when Jordan was retired, the Rockets joined Charles Barkley, Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler all on the same team." "But I don't look at it as ... I definitely didn't start the superteam, if that's what he's trying to say. But I just feel like that it's great that on the day you're celebrating your championship, my likeness and my name is in your head. I love that."
While LeBron may be a little confused on whether he's been on a superteam, you can't say he doesn't know his superteam history.
