Nipsey Hussle Shooting May Not Be Related To Larger Street Gang Dispute

by Benny Franklin

Ermias Asghedom a.k.a. Nipsey Hussle was killed yesterday while standing in front of his own store in L.A.

Rumors and conspiracy theories are flooding social media regarding Nipsey's death. Some think it was revenge from a previous gang incident.  According to the LA Times, that may not be the case.

The LA Times spoke with a confidential source, who wanted anonymity because they were not allowed to talk about this publicly.

The source had this to say...

Detectives are working leads and stressed the killing might not be tied to a larger street gang dispute.

Yesterday, insiders told us that the Nipsey may have been offed by a member of his own crew -- which this new information doesn't necessarily contradict.

Ironically, Nipsey had set up a meeting for today between himself, Roc Nation and the L.A.P.D. to discuss ways to stop gun violence.

We (@LAPDChiefMoore and I ) were meeting , at the request of @NipseyHussle with him and @rocnation tomorrow at 4pm to talk about ways he could help stop gang violence and help us help kids. I’m so very sad https://t.co/rcGtvw9c6L
