Lavar Ball Blames UCLA's NCAA Tournament Loss On 'White Guys

by HHL Editors

When Kentucky beat UCLA 86-75 in the Sweet Sixteen Wildcat guard De'Aaron Fox torched UCLA playmaker Lonzo Ball for 39 points (to his 10.)

But Ball's outspoken dad Lavar doesn't think that's really why the Bruins went down.

Instead, he's calling out the team's three white starters.

"Realistically you can't win no championship with three white guys because the foot speed is too slow," Ball told the Southern California News Group. "I told Lonzo, 'One of these games you might need to go for 30 or 40 points.' It turned out that was the one game," LaVar Ball added. "Then once they get to the Elite Eight, they're right there."
Ball is talking about UCLA starters TJ Leaf, Bryce Alford and Thomas Welsh. The three Caucasians combined for 39 points on 15-28 shooting during the Kentucky game, and Leaf is expected to be a first round pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

What do you think about Lavar's latest provocation?
