In 1998, Lauryn Hill dropped the seminal album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Since then, she's mostly just been late for things.
Hill eventually made it to the studio for her feature on Nas's King’s Disease II track 'Nobody.'
On it, she addresses that notorious lateness.
"My awareness like Keanu in ‘The Matrix’ / I’m saving souls and y’all complaining about my lateness."
She also gives a hint for why she keeps a low profile.
“Let me give it to you balanced and with clarity / I don’t need to turn myself into a parody / I don’t do the shit you do for popularity,” she raps.
