LA Rapper 'Bricc Baby' Arrested For Armed Robbery

By HHL Editors

Marina Del Rey, CA: Los Angeles rapper Bricc Baby Shitro (Bricc Baby) was arrested last night on charges of armed robbery. LAPD said it all started around 1:30 pm PST when the suspect's SUV was spotted by an LAPD helicopter.  The 29-year-old rapper was allegedly under close surveillance from the LAPD's Gang & Drug unit.  Once the rapper spotted police on his tail, he sped off leading police on a chase before exiting his vehicle and running into an apartment building in Marina Del Rey.  With a SWAT team and police dogs poised to enter the building about 7:15 p.m., Bricc Baby surrendered without further incident.

The rapper's mother was on scene during the standoff and proclaimed her son's innocence stating the LAPD "Got the wrong guy."

However, this certainly is NOT the LA rapper's first run-in with the law.  The well-known "crip" has a longstanding record of drugs, violence and arrests.

It's the unfortunate ending to another story of hope and potential overshadowed by the streets.  Over the past 2 years, Bricc Baby has worked to become a respected recording artist and was looking to turn rap into a full-time hustle, instead of the streets.  Bricc Baby was affiliated with the likes of Lil Durk, Peewee Longway, Kid Ink & more.

Like they say, innocent until proven guilty.
