Report: Kyrie Irving Wants Out Of Cleveland Because Of Lebron

by HHL Editors

Kyrie Irving no longer wants to play next to Lebron James.

League sources have told ESPN's Brian Windhorst that the All-Star point guard requested a trade from the Cavs during his meeting with team owner Dan Gilbert last week.

Irving is reportedly sick of playing second fiddle to James and would like to go to a team where he would be more of the focal point.

Irving's agent Jeff Wechsler confirmed Irving had a meeting with Gilbert, but wouldn't comment on what was discussed.

"Kyrie and I had a meeting with Cavs leadership where we discussed many different scenarios in reference to Kyrie and his future with the team," Wechsler told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. "The basis of those discussions and what went on in those discussions are between the Cavs and us. We are respectfully going to keep those private."
James was reportedly told of Irving's trade request and was "blindsided" and "disappointed."

By accepting a trade, Irving would be giving up the chance to qualify and sign a "supermax" contract with the Cleveland in 2019.

Do you think Kyrie will be wearing a Cav's uniform next year?

If not, where would you like to see him?
