Kyrie Irving Shades LeBron James In New Interview

by Daryl Nelson

Some might say that it's always been hard to tell if Kyrie Irving likes LeBron James or not.

The two used to play together for the Cleveland Cavaliers, where they won a championship in 2016.

Last year Irving said that it was hard playing with James, and before that Stephen A. Smith said that Irving left Cleveland because he was tired of being James' "son."

The 6'2" point guard recently had an interview on Kevin Durant's The ETCs podcast and seemingly took a shot at King James, while praising his Brooklyn Nets teammate Kevin Durant.

"I felt like I was the best option on every team I’ve played for down the stretch. This is the first time in my career where I can be like 'that motherf*cker can make that shot too.'"
