Kxng Crooked Gets At Drake For Joe Budden Diss

by Daryl Nelson

Clearly, Joe Budden ripping Drake and his album For All the Dogs a few days ago has sparked a big debate.

One of the latest people to weigh in is Budden's former Slaughterhouse group member Kxng Crooked, who spoke to TMZ about it.

For those who are just getting wind of this whole thing, Joe said that Drake's bars on For All the Dogs are terrible because they're aimed at children.

Drizzy responded by calling Joe a failed rapper and suggested that his money proves that his music is good.

Kxng Crooked sees it another way, though, and he said that money and material things don't make one exempt from delivering quality lyrics.  The Cali spitter also said he took Drake's comments personally because he hosts a podcast like Joe.

"I feel like [Drake] threw me a stray, I caught a stray," said the Cali rapper. "Because I love talking about Hip Hop. I think it's a dope, natural progression and evolution of an MC's career to jump behind the microphone and start speaking about the game as a commentator."

"Skills matter, respect from your peers matters, because if they didn’t, Drake wouldn’t have answered Joe Budden," he later said. "If those things did not matter, [Drake] wouldn’t have [responded] ... Him just responding to Joe just gives Joe the power that Joe probably wanted."

Are you one of those people who say money and success proves that a rapper's music is good?
