We all know Eminem is a perfectionist, but it's rare we hear details about how intense he is. 

Lucky for us, Kuniva, a former D12 member, reminded us a few days ago. 

Kuniva took to his Twitter to talk about collaborating with Em, and how critical he was about the music. 

Em would record with you and show up the next day at the studio to play the finished song. The only problem was, sometimes you wouldn't be on the finished song. 

Kuniva would be waiting for his part to come in and it wouldn't.  The hook would come in or a different person would be featured. 

Kuniva says this was called "The Kneel. It was Eminem telling you to bow out, you didn't make the cut. 

Lol Random. When recording our D12 albums there was this thing called “the kneel” that Em would do. You’d lay your verse and you good. The next day he plays the song back with everyone in the room. You’re waiting for your verse and...the hook comes in. Or another person...

You stand there looking confused and then he comes over to where you’re sitting while the music is still playing loud af! Then...he kneels to your ear level and explain why you got took off the song. Lmao!! Everyone lookin like you’re being told your puppy got splattered by a car

He’ll give you constructive criticism and then some dap. Maybe even a hug. 😂😂 I’ve saw “the kneel” make niggas wanna fight or work harder. Either way if @Eminem “kneels” by you in the lab you’re either changing the verse or getting scratched off the song. 😂😂😂 THE KNEEL!!
