Kodak Black Was Involved In The Number One Seizure At The Buffalo Border in 2019

by HHL JT

Last April, Kodak Black took some bad GPS advice and took the Canada route between Detroit and Boston.

He got pulled over at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge trying to reenter the U.S. and was arrested because his car had drugs and guns.

Fast forward to now. Kodak is locked up for five years on completely unrelated charges and the Buffalo Field Office of U.S. Customs and Border Protection has just announced their top ten seizures of 2019. Topping the list was young Kodak Black.

"CBP Officers in Buffalo encountered Rapper Kodak Black and his entourage in two separate vehicles at the Lewiston Bridge border crossing. Search of the vehicles led to the discovery of four handguns, a loaded magazine cartridge and a personal use amount of marijuana. Kodak Black and his three co-travelers were all arrested for felony possession of a weapon under New York State Penal Law," the field office reported.

It turns out there wasn't a lot of action at that particular border.  For example, here is their fourth-biggest bust of 2019.

CBP officers in Champlain detained a violin that a U.S. citizen was attempting to import and sell via Ebay.  The subject admitted to buying and importing violins from China for $49, then re-labeling them, claiming the origin to be Andalucia Espana and selling them at a much higher value.

Nevertheless, it never hurts to be number one when you're in the rap game.
