Kodak Black Sued For Missing Multiple Concerts

Kodak Black's legal problems are causing him even more legal problems.

The 20-year old is getting sued by two promoters who say he missed shows in 2017 because he was locked up-- but still cashed the checks they had written him and didn't pay them back.

Corey Minniefield says Black signed an agreement on February 28, 2017 to do a show. However, he was arrested for probation violations that same day and wasn't able to do the show because he was in jail. He then missed the makeup date. Minniefield is suing him for his 45K advance.

Promoter Nicholas Fitts had similar issues with Kodak: Black missed a date in March and then two reschedules in May because he was detained. Fitts wants his money back plus booking fees, for a total of  $123k.

After enjoying about six months of freedom, Black was arrested again earlier this month for probation violations and more serious charges. He'll be locked up until at least February 23, so more promoters may be suing him in the future.
