Kodak Black Is Facing More Time Than We Thought

by HHL JT

Initial reports suggested that Kodak Black faced up to a year for twice falsifying documents while attempting to obtain a firearm at Lou’s Police Distributors in Hialeah, Florida on two separate occasions.

Now XXL is reporting that Black faces up to ten years because he claimed on the application he wasn't under indictment when he was very much under indictment.

Black is currently facing some ugly charges and up to 30 years in South Carolina.

Today, Black pled not guilty to the falsification charges.

His lawyer Bradford Cohen believes Black simple got confused by the legal terminology on the application.

"When you throw around legal terms like indictment, information, or anything like that where someone's not an attorney, [the federal government is] making the assumption that you know what that means," Cohen told XXL.

"Down here, they file in information," Cohen continued. "Like in state court, they file information. Generally, they don't indict unless it's a capital crime. So every state has different terminology."

In addition to the ten years, Black faces a 250K fine and three years of supervised probation. His bond is set at 550K.

Update: Kodak has been released under house arrest after putting up his home as bail.
