Kodak Black Pleads Guilty In GPS Disaster At Canadian border

by HHL JT

Last year, Kodak Black was arrested after his GPS led him through Canada on a trip between Detroit and Boston.

The issue was he had drugs and guns in his car and the border patrol on the US side of the  Lewiston-Queenston Bridge didn't like that one bit.

Earlier this week, Black pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in that incident and will be sentenced to between 2 and 7 years in New York state prison.

The good news is that sentence will run concurrently with the 46-month federal sentence he is currently serving for lying on a firearm application.

His federal release date is August 14th, 2022.  When he's sentenced for his state crime on March 24 we'll have a better idea if he's going to have to then go up to New York and serve more time.
