Kodak Black Explains Why He Went After Lil Wayne [VIDEO]

Late last year, Kodak Black got completely disrespectful with Lil Wayne.

He told everyone he was a better rapper than Wayne, claimed he wanted to fight him and even told Weezy to "eat his ass." Wayne ignored the upstart, although others weighed in on his behalf.

All of that fun wrapped up in January.

But Kodak revisited his attacks on his elder in a recent IG Live session. In the clip, Kodak explains that he want off on Wayne because he was drunk and pissed that Wayne had said he didn't know who Kodak Black was.

“A nigga tried to smurf a nigga, like, like, like, he don’t know who I am and shit so one day I over went – took that Patron and Grey Goose – I wasn’t finna wake up in the morning and say, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. That was a mistake. I was toast,'” Kodak explained.
