Kmart Just Discontinued Nicki Minaj Too

by HHL Editors

Remy Ma isn't Nicki Minaj's only problem.

Over the weekend, a Twitter account called Kmart Fashion posted this.

Due to a dramatic decrease in sales, Nicki Minaj's clothing line will soon be discontinued. Items are now 50% off. https://t.co/vJpHTefpoR pic.twitter.com/Is1fOqWxyQ

Kmart Fashions is a parody account, and the Tweet was a Remy joke.

But the Tweet tricked a lot of people. And things took a strange turn when those folks started asking Kmart about Nicki's status with them. It turns out, the discount retailer has parted ways with Minaj.

Here is their official statement:

“Kmart is thrilled that we were the first retail partner to create a custom apparel line for Nicki Minaj. From the development of the line, to showcasing it in stores, to designing exclusive capsule collections, we have enjoyed a positive relationship with Nicki Minaj and her team over the lat three years. As our partnership came to a close in 2016, we would like to thank Nicki Minaj for being a great partner and wish her continued success in her future endeavors.”
This could be for Nicki's benefit. You really don't want your signature line of clothes being sold at Kmart when you're in the midst of rap beef.
