King Louie Addresses Getting Shot Seven Times On CNN

by HHL Editors

King Louie was released from the hospital Sunday after spending the Christmas weekend recovering from multiple gunshot wounds. Last night, the Chicago emcee jumped on Don Lemon's CNN Show to talk about getting shot.

During the interview, he explained that his car was hit 22 times as he was about to pull away from his friend's home. Seven of the bullets reached him, with two slugs remaining in his chest, and one in his head.

Lemon asked the man credited with coining the phrase Chi-raq about what's going on with all the shootings in his town.

"The Devil's working overtime," King L explained. "What do you mean?" Lemon wondered. "The Devils working overtime, evil," L repeated.
Do you think the Devil is to blame for Chicago's issues with gun violence?
