Kid Cudi Wears A Dress On 'SNL'

by Benny Franklin

Kid Cudi made quite the statement last night on Saturday Night Live.

The Cleveland rapper performed two songs that paid tribute to Kurt Cobain, and one of the songs also paid tribute to Chris Farley.

During his performance for “Tequila Shots,” Cudi came out in an open green cardigan (Cobain/Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged) and had a t-shirt underneath that had a photo of Farley on it.

For his “Sad People” performance, Cudi hit the stage rocking a dress, and it had a very similar floral pattern compared to a t-shirt that Cobain wore in the past.

Cobain died by suicide on April 5th, 1994, and last week marked the 27-year anniversary.

To wrap things up, Cudi appeared in SNL’s “Weird Little Flute” music video with Pete Davidson and Chris Redd, which also featured cameos from host Carey Mulligan and surprise guest Timothee Chalamet.
