Kid Cudi Is Unhappy 'Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven' Was Labeled Hip Hop

by HHL Editors

Kid Cudi's Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven is only projected to move between 18,000 and 21,000 units in its first week.

This is way down from Cudi's previous four solo albums, all of which exceeded 85K in first week sales.

Could it be a misunderstanding about the album's content that has led to such a disappointing sales total?

Cudi's style has been trending away from rap for years, and he believes iTunes mislabeled Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven as Hip Hop, when it should have been marked as alternative.

He took to Twitter to explain his problem with Apple's media player:

Hey everyone, theres suppose to be a digital booklet included but some fuck head messed up. Working to fix now. STANDBY

SBTH is ALTERNATIVE, not HIP HOP/RAP like someone FORCEFULLY labeled it. You can make the change in your settings manually. Fixin this too — The Chosen One (@KidCudi) December 4, 2015

Even though I made sure to let the world know early on the direction I was headed in, It can still be misleading seeing it labeled wrong.
