Thanks to Travis Scott and Fortnite, Kid Cudi finally has a number one hit song.

"The Scotts" (Travis and Mescudi) debuted last week during a Fortnite virtual event that attracted 12 million players.

That was more than enough to launch it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, topping The Weeknd's "Blinding Light," Drake's "Toosie Slide" Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyonce's "Savage" and Roddy Ricch's "The Box," in that order.

Cudi was thrilled with the achievement:

"THIS MEANS SO MUCH TO ME!!! IVE BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 12 YEARS AND I FINALLY DID THIS W MY MUTHAF*CKIN BROTHER!  TO MY PARTNER IN RAGE TRAVIS AND ALL MY FANS AROUND THE WORLD THAT SUPPORTED US AND GOT US ON LISTS, I F*CKIN LOVE YOU," Cudi typed.

Congrats.
