Kid Cudi Explains Why He Forgave Kanye West During Their Beef

by Daryl Nelson

Kid Cudi and Kanye West were seen hugging last month at a listening event in Las Vegas for Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's Vultures album.

It was suprising since Cudi once said he's no longer cool with Ye and will never record with him again.

Their beef essentially had to do with Cudi's friend, Pete Davidson, dating Ye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. That led to Ye calling Cudi disloyal for still being friends with the former SNL cast member.

Cudi spoke about the reconciliation with Apple Music's Zane Lowe and said that Ye apologized to him.

"The reason why we became cool again is because he apologized to me and it was sincere. I was just like, wow," said the Ohio singer. "Kanye does not apologize to anybody and say sorry to anyone. And that’s my brother, man, and there’s just nothing like Kanye and Cudi. We like the duo that everybody loves to see."

Are you glad that these two settled their differences?
