Kid Cudi Suddenly Leaves 'Empire'; Replaced By Romeo Miller

by HHL Editors

You may have seen Kid Cudi in the promotional material for Empire's third season, which starts September 21.

But don't expect to see him in the show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Cudi has parted ways with the Fox hit over "creative differences."

His role of Gram, a rival to Hakeem and a love interest for Tiana, will be filled by another rapper/actor: Romeo Miller.

Since Cudi had already shot scenes as Gram, re-shoots with Miller will be required.

Last month, Cudi said he planned to drop two albums this year.

Maybe now he'll have time to finish them up.
