Kevin Liles Says Lady Luck is Trying to Shake Him Down

Do you remember Lady Luck?

As a 17-year-old in 1998, she signed a five-album deal with Def Jam on the strength of her freestyles.

Despite the initial hype, her career never took off.

This morning, former Def Jam executive Kevin Liles accused Luck (Shanell Ayana Jones) of trying to shake him down.

According to Liles, Luck threatened to sue him and release a book if he didn't pay her $30 million.

In the book, she would accuse him of grooming her and forcing her to perform oral sex.

Liles denies both charges.  He calls Luck's actions "extortion" and says he will meet the false allegations with all the tools the law provides him.
