Kevin Gates Praises Baton Rouge Cop Killer

by HHL Editors

Kevin Gates is not down with Black Lives Matter.

But don't think it's because he's pro police.

The always outspoken rapper may have made his most controversial statements yet while discussing police brutality.

“I’m not against black people, I’m not against white people," he said "I stand for what’s right. Bunch of niggas jumping around hooping and hollering ain’t right. But if we gonna go to war, let’s go to war, 'cause I’m gonna go to war for what’s right. My wife, five months pregnant, pulled out the car by police for no reason, handcuffed in 40-degree weather. That wasn't right. And I made a vow to her, bae, that’ll never happen to us again. Never in life.'” "Talking and all that, that ain't right," he continued. "But how they stood up in Baton Rouge ... I can salute that. Keep it G with me. That's all I ask of you."
Gates concludes by saying "I wasn't made for everybody to like."

Indeed.
