Kevin Gates In Trouble For Bringing Money To Prison Visit With C-Murder

by HHL JT

C-Murder is serving a life sentence for the beating and killing of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2002.

Kevin Gates recently visited Master P's bro and some of the others homies at Elayn Hunt Correctional Center in St. Gabriel, Louisiana.

Gates posted photos of his trip to the inside on Instagram.

In one of the photos, Gates flexes a wad of hundred dollar bills. That's a no-no.

“As indicated in the photograph, it appears Mr. Gates had a large sum of cash, which is unacceptable, and a violation,” Louisiana Department of Corrections spokesman Ken Pastorick told The Advocate. “It is against Elayn Hunt Correctional Center policy to bring case exceeding $300 into the prison, and any amount above that is considered contraband.”

According to Pastorick, Gates was a registered guest of Lee Lucas, so he signed off on paperwork which acknowledged the prison's policy on money.

An investigation is now underway.

Gates has a pretty long rap sheet. Hopefully, this trip to prison won't land him back in prison.
