Kevin Durant Makes His Decision On The Nets

by HHL JT

Kevin Durant had told Nets owner Joe Tsai that he wants to be traded if he doesn't fire Brooklyn coach Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks.

Tsai didn't fire either.

And now KD is sticking with the Nets.  Marks announced Durant's decision to rescind his trade request today.

“[Nets coach] Steve Nash and I, together with [Nets owners] Joe Tsai and Clara Wu Tsai, met with Kevin Durant and [his manager] Rich Kleiman in Los Angeles yesterday. We have agreed to move forward with our partnership,” Marks said. “We are focusing on basketball, with one collective goal in mind: build lasting franchise to bring a championship to Brooklyn.”

The Nets had been actively shopping Durant, but no team would meet their sky-high demands.

Now he'll be back in Brooklyn.

The question becomes if Kyrie Irving [trade request] and Ben Simmons [mental illness] will be with him.
