Kendrick Lamar's 'DAMN.' Has A New Feature [UPDATED]

by HHL Editors

When Kendrick Lamar released the tracklist for DAMN. earlier this week, there were only two features: international superstars (and non-rappers) U2 and Rihanna.

Kendrick signaling that he doesn't need any of his rapping peers on his album seemed to us like a strategic move.

It turns out there's a third feature -- albeit not exactly a household name.

Singer Zacari Pacaldo will get official credit for being on the DAMN. track 'Love.'

The up-and-comer has some experience with K.Dot, as they were both features on TDE artist Isaiah Rashad's 2016 track 'What's Wrong.'

He is (currently) the only feature on Kendrick Lamar's new project who hasn't sold at least 150 million albums.

DAMN. drops Friday.

Updated to reflect that Zacari is singer Zacari Pacaldo, not stage crashing rapper Zacari Nicasio, as it has been widely reported.

Sleeper feature Zacari. Thank you @kendricklamar for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this legendary album. #LOVE #DAMN pic.twitter.com/t2LQ8XahNz
