A few months ago, Isaiah Rashad got the many Kendrick Lamar fans excited when he claimed that he had heard a new Kendrick album.

Rashad then stepped back from those claims. But everyone suspected that's because the TDE brash told him to shut his big mouth.

Now we have confirmation from K.Dot's mouth that he's not even working on a new album.

The LA Times reports:

“He claims he hasn’t been working on a new album, but says that he’s constantly working. Someone in his camp mentions they’re going to the studio immediately after this.”

Kendrick's last album, 2017's DAMN., is three times platinum and won a Pulitzer Prize. Since then, he's curated the Black Panther soundtrack, which is up for album of the year at the 2019 Grammys.

So he has a lot to top with his next project, whenever that may come.
