Kendrick Lamar Addresses The Theory Surrounding His Easter Album [VIDEO]

by Daryl Nelson

Kendrick Lamar addressed the mystery surrounding his supposed Easter day album during a Beats 1 interview with Zane Lowe.

Some had thought Kendrick was going to drop an album -- which could be called Resurrection -- on Easter Sunday. They backed the theory up with hints from DAMN.'s lyrical content, and the way the album was marketed. But Kendrick revealed that never was the plan.

"Man, it's some things in that album, but it ain't that one," the TDE artists said about all the speculation. "A lot of times people that listen to my music, they're really good. They're really, really, really good. Man, I be mind blown. I be blown away."
So there you have it, folks. No DAMN. part 2.  But Kendrick is impressed with his Stans' ability to go Easter egg hunting, so to speak.

You can watch Dot's full interview below, and hear him talk about the theory of the Easter album around the 44:00 mark.
