Keak Da Sneak Shot Again

by HHL Editors

Veteran Bay Area emcee Keak da Sneak was shot multiple times early this morning in front of a  gas station in Richmond, California.

Police found the 39-year-old badly wounded and had him transferred to a local hospital trauma center. While there have been Internet rumors he's dead, as of now he's listed in stable condition with multiple wounds to the face and chest.

UPDATE: We're told that @KeakDaSneak just got out of surgery & is in stable condition. Keep sending your prayers & positive energy his way

Sneak had performed Sunday night at Complex, a venue on 14th Street in downtown Oakland.

Police have no suspects in the shooting, and wouldn't speculate on whether it was a drive-by.

Keak was also shot in January and performed on crutches soon after.

Keak is best known as the leader of the Bay Area Hyphy movement, which emerged around the turn of the century.

He was responsible for hits like ‘Super Hyphy’, ‘White T-shirt, Blue Jeans, and Nikes’, and was a feature on E-40’s ‘Tell Me When To Go’.

Prayers he pulls through his latest brush with gun violence.
