Kanye West's "Yeezy" Received Millions In Federal Small Business Loans

by Benny Franklin

The Coronavirus pandemic has hurt business worldwide, but especially in the United States.

One of those businesses is Kanye West's Yeezy brand, and the government is stepping in to help the presidential candidate

Yeezy received a federal government pandemic rescue fund worth between $2 million and $5 million, and it's said to have helped save 106 jobs, according to the U.S. Treasury Department.

Given that Ye is a billionaire and Yeezy is an international brand, some have questioned whether he should have received the bailout money intended for "small businesses."

Yeezy also just announced a major deal with Gap that will allow their hoodies and T-shirts to be sold in Gap's 1,100 stores around the world.
