Kanye West Explains Why He No Longer Supports Donald Trump

by Daryl Nelson

Kanye West's love affair with Donald Trump is over. That's according to a newly released Forbes interview.

The GOOD Music founder has been an ardent supporter of Trump since Trump won the election in 2016.

Ye announced that he was running for president on July 4th. He now says that his running mate will be a preacher from Wyoming named Michelle Tidball.

"It looks like one big mess to me,” said Kanye about Trump's presidency. “I don’t like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker.  I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.  I’m not saying Trump’s in my way, he may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on man, please. You know? Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special."

Kanye has already missed the filing deadline in six states and is probably not really running for President.

What do you feel about Ye no longer being a Trump supporter?
