Kanye West's "Yeezus" Originally Had A Different Name

by Benny Franklin

Kanye West has made a lot of changes in his life; from album names to his lifestyle and faith. And let's not forget, he even threatened to change his legal name once.

In reference to changed album names, in the summer of 2013, Yeezy released his album Yeezus, but we found out that it wasn't even the original name of the album.

Designer Joe Perez, who has worked with Kanye for several years on the cover art for Yeezus, The Life of Pablo, and Cruel Summer recently sat down with Genius to talk about the infamous album, and original title.

Joe claims before it was Yeezus, the album's name was Thank God For Drugs.

Joe posts a ton of incredible designs to his Instagram page, two being the original CD cover artwork for Thank God For Drugs, and even a mockup flyer for the Yeezus tour.
