Kanye West showed a bit of remorse when he responded to Ma$e's recent demand for an apology.
West has been slamming the music industry over the past several days and feels like artists are being trapped in slave-like deals. He then posted all of his contracts on Twitter to make his point.
Ma$e pretty much called Ye a hypocrite for his messages on the industry and brought up his 2010 cut "Devil in a New Dress."
"#kanyewest much of what you are feeling has been expressed before," wrote Ma$e. "But when I was saying it, the same system and mindset that you are fighting against today, used you to shame me for leaving the very same system! #Remember, your famous line “Don’t leave when you hot”? You owe me (and my family) a public #apology and then some."
The Jesus is King rapper responded to Ma$e on Sunday, September 20.
Ma$e is right about that line ... I always felt funny about that line ... Ma$e is one of my favorite rappers and I based a lot of my flows off of him ... I’m the king of “ooh can I get away with this bars” so I reap what I sow when the next generation does the same to me.
