Kanye West Replaces Jay-Z With DaBaby On 'Donda'; Brings Out Marilyn Manson

by Daryl Nelson

Kanye West held another listening event for his Donda album in Chicago's Soldier Field Thursday night, and like his past events he pulled out all the theatrics.

There was a replica of Ye's childhood home on stage, Kim Kardashian came out in a wedding dress, and Marilyn Manson was brought out.

What got the most reaction was Kanye replacing Jay-Z with DaBaby on one of the Donda songs. People first heard Jay on the album at Ye's listening event in Atlanta last month and had a big reaction.

It's not clear why Jay was removed from the song, but maybe Ye will explain later. He also took off Kid Cudi's vocals on one cut.

Of course, DaBaby has been under fire for making homophobic statements at Rolling Loud in July, and Manson has been accused of sexual assault and abuse by several women, so it seems that Ye is trying to make a point by including them with Donda.

What do you think that point is?
