Kanye West's silence on the current spate of police violence against black people had been noticed.

Ye is silent no more, having spoken in a big way with his wallet.

West, Forbes's highest-paid musician of 2020 with earnings of $170 million, has given $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery & Breonna Taylor.

The funds include a 529 college savings fund to fully cover tuition for Floyd's 6-year-old daughter Gianna and will help cover the Floyd, Arbery, and Taylor families' legal fees.

Floyd's death at the hands of the Minneapolis police has touched off protests and riots all over the country.  Arbery was killed by white vigilantes, including an ex-cop, who thought he fit the description of a burglary suspect.  Taylor was shot and killed by Louisville police during the execution of a no-knock warrant.
