Rapper and actor Kaalan Walker, who's best known for playing JuJu in SuperFly, was sentenced to 50 years to life yesterday for raping seven women, including three minors, between 2013 and 2018.

In April, the 27-year-old had been convicted of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication.

Walker, who used to date Kehlani, had a scheme in which he would meet "models" and "actresses" on social media and then lure them to a photo shoot with promises of meeting a famous person, like Drake.

Then he would sexually assault them.

“We feel that with this verdict, the jury gave these victims back their voices,” Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace said after he was convicted. “This was very sophisticated. He picked these girls and he appealed to their dreams and hopes and name-dropped Drake and used his connection to Halle Berry to get these girls somewhere and gain their trust. Once they were there, it wasn’t about doing photo shoots; it was about assaulting them.”

When Walker was convicted he cried in court and yelled that he "didn't rape anyone."
