Juice WRLD's Mom Writes Open Letter On His Birthday

by HHL JT

Juice WRLD would have been 23 today.

He's been gone almost two years, but his music is as popular as ever.  This year, he was the tenth most-streamed artist of the year on Spotify.

That success is cold comfort for his mother Carmela Wallace, who lost her baby to drugs.

She wrote an open letter to her late son on his birthday.

"When you were born 23 years ago, I never expected that you would not be here today celebrating your birthday," she began. "Although it has been nearly two years since you’ve been gone, I still think about you every day and losing you has changed my life forever. I’m glad that we always made sure that we said goodbye when we left each other because we didn’t know when we would see each other again."

RIP.
