Juelz Santana Speaks After Making Bail

by HHL JT

Juelz Santana committed one of the goofiest crimes of '18 last month when he tried to bring his pistol and oxycodone on an airplane. When the TSA discovered the contraband he started running, jumped in a taxicab, and fled Newark airport.

He eventually turned himself in and is facing Federal drugs and gun charges, with is no joke.

He made bail yesterday by putting his mom's house up. He spoke to reporters after he was released from jail.

'It's a beautiful thing," Juelz said of being free. "I'm just happy to be in God's graces... I was praying every day. He came through for me. And my lawyer, Brain Nearing, of course. And my family held me down. Cam held me down. Just gotta do the right thing, do everything I need to do the right thing so I stay home."

Santana went on to say that he was working on new music when he was arrested and hopes to resume doing so when he can.

Juelz will be wearing an ankle monitor and will be on 24-hour lockdown as he awaits trial.
