Jon Stewart Hits Sean Hannity For Branding Jay-Z ‘Crack Dealer’

by HHL Editors

Last week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo met with Jay-Z to discuss the relationship between New York City’s black community and the NYPD, which has been especially contentious since a grand jury declined to indict a police officer in the chokehold death of Eric Garner.

Fox News personality Sean Hannity pushed back against that, questioning why Cuomo would even consider the opinion of a “former crack dealer” like Jay-Z.

Many believed that labeling Hov as such was below the belt since he’s done plenty of other notable things since his drug slinging days. Count Jon Stewart among those critics, and the Daily Show host went off on Hannity for his crack quip.

What do you think? Is it unfair to brand Jay-Z as a “former crack dealer.” Or is it OK since Jay has made repeated references to his criminal days in his own lyrics?
