Joey Badass said he isn't just the King of New York when it comes to rap, he's the king overall.

The Brooklyn rapper made that bold statement in a docuseries titled The Life I Live that shows the Pro Era leader's day-to-day adventures and being in the studio.

"F--K the King of New York, I'm the king period," he said in a track that's was playing.

Joey has been relatively quiet in recent months, and the last time he was the center of online chatter was when he told people the Pro Era album was coming and got criticized for it. He was also accused by producer Ace Hasimoto of ducking payment.

What are your thoughts on Joey calling himself the king of rap? You can hear him make the claim below at the 11:30 mark.
