Joey Bada$$ dropped his new album 2000 last week and took questions about it on Reddit.
Chris Brown is on the song "Welcome Back" off the project, and Joey was asked why he would work with the singer since he assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
"Chris Brown is one of the most talented artist musicians of all time are you kidding me?” answered Joey. "It was an honor that he was even so willing to be a part of my album ... He’s also a friend of mine. I get it, you guys may not think he’s perfect or cool because of things he’s done in his past, but which one of you guys are perfect?"
The Pro Era emcee also called someone "close minded" for questioning the Breezy collab.
