This Christmas Eve will mark the six-year anniversary of Capital Steez' tragic death. 

Steez committed suicide by jumping off a Manhattan building. Steez's good friend Joey Bada$$ sat down with Dr. Siri Sat Sam Singh, better known as The Therapist, to discuss Steez's passing and their spiritual journeys. In the discussion, Joey explained that in weeks leading up to Steez's death, his buddy was in a daze. 

Joey: To be honest, I think that he thought that he was dreaming. 

The Therapist: Yes,  I think he was in relationship with the spirit world.

Joey: No, He definitely was. I know because he's my brother. 

During the interview, Joey also spoke on the depression and trauma he's dealt with.

"I don't always feel 100% connected to myself. That's something I admit," Joey said.
