Joell Ortiz May Be Taking Action Against Royce Da 5'9" Over Slaughterhouse Drama

by Daryl Nelson

When Royce Da 5'9"stopped by Math Hoffa's My Expert Opinion podcast, he talked about the tension between himself and members of his former group Slaughterhouse.

But it's really two members that Royce has an issue with, Joell Ortiz and Kxng Crooked. That's mainly because Joell and Crook dropped their joint album Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse in March.

On the My Expert Opinion podcast, Royce said the two rappers hurt the Slaughterhouse brand by forcing fans to pick sides.

Joell and Crook talked about some of this during an Instagram Live discussion, and Joell said he may take action.

“I’m not above a diss record, my n*gga,” he told Crook. “All I did on that last album was tell the f*cking truth. I told the fans why there was no more Slaughterhouse. That’s it. I didn’t call n*ggas out their name. I didn’t do anything but say the truth ... But if n*gga keep it up, I’m not above a diss record … So just leave me alone. I’m not bothering you. I said my truth. I haven’t mentioned anything since March.”

Would you say Joell and Kxng Crooked were wrong for dropping the Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse?
