Joe Budden has followed his old hot take partner DJ Akademiks and calling the [still rather meager] chart numbers Meg puts up.

"For me, I see the play on the blackboard, but the numbers is gonna tell what is and what's not or why aren't they being manipulated. If we putting you on everything spoken. If we tapping you to host the awards, we giving you the commercials, we doing this, we putting you everywhere feasible, somebody that spent something to do with this is gonna want to see a number come back. It tells a story," Joe said.

Like Ak, Joe is very suspicious of the first-week numbers for Meg's reissued Megan album, Megan Act II.

The album had been on pace to sell 8K, an embarrassing results.  However, something happened and it ended the week with a more respectable 43K.

The original album did 60K first week in June.
