Joe Budden Explains Why He's Been Quiet About The Cassie, Diddy Situation

by Daryl Nelson

Joe Budden has been catching some online flak for not speaking on Cassie suing her ex Diddy for rape, human trafficking, and physical abuse.

He responded to the backlash on his podcast and explained why he's gone mute on the subject.

Joe Budden says he edited out his take on the Diddy & Cassie lawsuit for multiple reasons

- Diddy listens to his podcast
- Legal protection, avoided clips
- incase Diddy actually blows up people's carspic.twitter.com/PRuSvHRcFk

"I did it for legal reasons, I did it for a myriad of reasons but first and foremost, the legal portion," said Joe. "Y’all ain’t ’bout to clip me up or clip us up or clip this set up and just attach it to whatever story and narrative you wanna attach it to."

"I been on this here internet a long time before some of y’all was born out there," he went on. "I know how it goes, and I know how the blog sites work on a slow weekend. I know what they do from experience because they mostly use me to do it. I don’t be trying to give them nothing."

Besides Cassie's accusations, Diddy has been accused of some pretty violent behavior, like dangling Wale off a balcony in a fit of jealousy and blowing up Kid Cudi's car.

"What if that n*gga did all the sh*t that he’s accused of?" asked Joe. "Why would I wanna inherit that? What if he did some of that sh*t, like the violent stuff ... Sound like a headache. Don’t sound like the risk is worth the reward to me."

Is Joe right to keep quiet on Diddy?
