Joe Budden has a theory about Kawhi Leonard. The Raptors superstar may have a quiet, almost meek, demeanor. But that's OK because he is backed by killers. Including his late father.

"Guess who's a killer? Kawhi's dad...it's a fact," Joe said on his podcast, and then claimed he read this from five different sources. "Dad is in jail for I think whatever," Budden continued. "I won't get into it, I'm afraid. And the uncle is out handling the business. When you look at Kawhi and his game and his demeanor, don't it sound right? And, then you're happy to know that. You're like, that's why Embiid deaded those jokes [when his Sixers played the Raptors] ... I get it now."
Then Joe's co-host Rory jumped and explained that it wasn't a fact that Kawhi's pops was a killer. In fact, Mr. Leonard was on the wrong end of that equation.
"His father, Mark, was shot and killed January 18, 2008, at the Compton carwash he owned. He may have been involved in something, but he is now passed away," Rory clarified.
Still, that didn't change Joe's theory.
"Okay, rest in peace to Kawhi's dad," Budden replied. "That doesn't change my story at all. Alright, so he's not here. But guess what? In the articles that I read before he left, he was getting busy. And to my knowledge, I think the uncle's gettin' busy."
Twitter wasn't happy with Joe for slandering the Leonard family like that.
