There were social media fireworks this Fourth of July weekend between Joe Budden and Hip Hop couple Meek Mill & Nicki Minaj after Budden clowned how awkward Mill was around Nicki during the BET Awards.

After the pair heard about the Slaughterhouse emcee's comments they both struck back. Which is the problem when you go after a couple: it's automatically two against one.

Budden was hoping he might get some backup from Safaree Samuels, Minaj's ex who was last seen complaining that Meek Minaj had had him banned from The BET Awards. However, Budden got nothing from S.B. It looks like Budden is on his own. Did he make a fool of himself coming after Meek Mill like he did? Or is all promotion good promotion?
