by Daryl Nelson

Jordan Poole is ready to get back to basketball.

Earlier this month, footage surfaced that showed the Golden State Warriors' shooting guard getting punched in the face by teammate Draymond Green. It happened after the two exchanged words and Poole pushed Green.

Poole has been quiet about the punch but he broke his silence on Sunday, October 16 while speaking to reporters.

"He apologized," said Poole, who just signed a a four-year, $140 million contract extension with the Warriors. "[It was] professional and we plan on handling ourselves that way. We're here to play basketball and everybody in the locker room and on the team knows what it takes to win a championship, and we're gonna do that on the court ... That's really all I have to say on the matter. We're here to win a championship and keep hanging banners."

How long do you think it'll be awkward between Poole and Greene before things go back to normal?
